My name is Michaela. I have experience working at dog kennels and competing with my personal dogs, Marzipan and Rama, in dog training sports (SDA, IPO) and family obedience. I love dogs so much that I am opening my house to friends, family, and referrals who need an extra hand with their furry friends! My German Shepherd, Rama, sadly passed away summer of 2023 from cancer at the age of 8. My two remaining dogs are Marzipan (13), and Posy (6), both Australian Cattle Dogs. I’ve owned each of my dogs since they were weeks old and have trained them personally for family or sport.

| PUPPY INTRO CLASS: $60/hour
Welcoming a new furry friend into your family life? I offer an hour long introductory course to show you the ropes on dog care and training basics. We’ll cover things such as how to shape and encourage good behaviors, troubleshooting bad behaviors, training equipment, engagement and play with your dog, grooming basics, and what to expect at the vet. This class will be most productive at you home where the dog will be living. I will leave you with an informational sheet that goes over some of the terminology used.

| ONE-ON-ONE LESSONS: $60/hour. FREE first lesson.
I offer hourly, one-on-one lessons with you and your dog to troubleshoot specific issues. The first lesson is free and will be a slower-paced observation time for myself as I watch the dog and your relationship in your home environment. This initial session is important to set the stage for a future curriculum. We can schedule subsequent lessons on a schedule that works best for you, whether weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly, etc.

| PHONE CONSULTS: $15/15 minutes
For established training clients only. We can chat over the phone or via video call to troubleshoot issues you may be experiencing with your dog in real time.

| BOARDING: $35/day for 1st dog. $20/day per additional dog
For pre-approved dogs only. I offer boarding at my home with my other dogs and a fenced-in backyard. Your dog will have its own kennel, food & water bowls, bedding, and toys. All items are cleaned routinely. I ask personal items be left at home to avoid damage or loss (dogs will be dogs!). If your dog is dropped off after 6pm, or picked up before 7am, that day will not be counted for boarding. Special needs dogs add $5/day. Currently not accepting non-potty-trained dogs. All dogs must be leashed when arriving or leaving the house. Please fill out a pre-approval request form prior to booking in order to get pre-approved.

Requirements:

| DAY TRAINING: $75/day (drop-off before 8am)
Drop off your dog at my home while you’re at work for (2) 30-minute training sessions and playtime with other dogs per day. We’ll continue working on training progress while you’re hard at work. Outings possible depending on the dog’s progress.

| BOARD & TRAIN: $75/day, or $500/week
Leaving for a vacation and still want too upkeep training with your dog? Leave your furry friend with me at my home and I’ll train the dog during your absence. I’ll communicate with you on the specific areas you’d like focus on. Just bring kibble! Outings possible depending on the dog’s progress.

Treat your dog to some extra goodies during their stay! Note how many days you wish to add on each service when booking.

Pre-approved dogs only. Drop off your dog for a day of fun! No training, just playtime with other dogs at my home and in my fenced-in backyard. Great for those with busy work schedules to allow safe socialization with other dogs and to let out some energy! $20 / day, or $80 for a work week (5 days). Drop-off time is before 8am and pickup must be before 6pm. Does not include meals or medication administration. Please fill out a pre-approval request form if you’re new to my home!
